Geography
Yangju City is located in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do, with Pocheon-si to the east, Seoul and Uijeongbu to the south, and Goyang-si and Paju-si to the west.
Measured20km horizontally and 30km vertically, the place has few plains and is quite mountainous. The plains are scattered along the river that runs south, north and west.
